You can still use any other text code in the text like in ORK 2 - you have access to them via the text editor (when clicking on More to show more options).
For the regular HUDs, that'll also be displayed like in ORK 2, i.e. if you set it up to show the player's battle group, it'll create one HUD per combatant.
